JTAD is a professional, multi-service firm which provides architectural design + development and construction management services for various residential project scopes. With a focus on small scale residential upgrades, JTAD has evolved as a resource niche' that offers individuals access to practical, but unique, architectural design advice and planning. In blending a mixture of expertise and creativity, we offer a broad range of services for manageable fees. Because of high overhead demands, many larger design firms cannot turn a profit on projects of reduced scopes without charging unrealistic fees which is not practical for the current economic mindset.

With over fifteen years of experience in the profession of commercial + industrial related architectural design, I have narrowed my focus to address residential design tasks based on a growing need for services that support smaller scale client needs. These tasks include, but are not limited to;

  • additions and remodels
  • kitchen and bathroom upgrades
  • interior and exterior enhancements
  • exterior environments and outdoor living
  • color and space studies

In the current economic environment, homeowners are deciding to stay where they are while foreclosures continue….. more and more are electing to upgrade their current investment, rather than risk the unknown. More are seeking design services to help upgrade in a creative and efficient manner. JTAD can assist in all design related aspects, as well as executing drawings for construction, and if required, interface with municipalities on projects where permitting is required.

  

As project scope dictates, we also work closely with qualified consultants in all support disciplines related to the design + construction process. These consultants have consistently proven themselves in regards to their design team contributions, knowledge of their field and quality deliverables. These disciplines include:

  • Civil – grading and drainage design
  • Landscaping – planting and irrigation design
  • Structural – framing and foundation design
  • Mechanical/Plumbing – environmental controls
  • Electrical – lighting and power design
